From all the variety of collections that MAC launches in April I have recieced a number of products from each one. And I’ve even managed to make photos of them (so this week I’ll spam you with MAC!).
Despite all the bright colors most of all I liked transparent lip balm with golden glitter from Cook collection. This one:
Lip balm is called Tendertone, color – Tread Gently. There are also orange Purring, cherry Hot ‘ n’ Saucy, golden-beige Hush, Hush at the collection. I would have had them all with a great pleasure 
.
The description says it’s lime and yellow. I can’t see any green modulations, only golden ones:

Here I’ve already written about trying new Darphin – Ideal Resource creme. It’s beenalmost a month of our life together with it and I suppose I can tell you about the first results.
What is this cream for? It is a anti-wrinkle recovery product that is promised to regenerate the skin actively, thus correcting wrinkles, imperfecting tone, restoring its shine. For that reason three rare plants are included is ingredients: Japanese Knotweed, Centella Asiatica and White Hibiscus flowers (they are at the picture below, they were chosen for a great viability in the wild).
These three components form Line Polish Complex patented technology. Japanese Knotweed is promised to fight the wrinkles as its flowerscontain a high concentration of resveratrol, which stimulates the protein SIRT1, that enhances the production of collagen. Centella Asiatica works for shine and White Hibiscus flowers contain active flower acids that “polish” the skin, improve its tone andtexture.
Thus we are promised to have increasingthe naturalcollagenproduction, less visible wrinkles, better shine and texture. It’s recommended to apply the substance in the morning after serum and in the evening after aroma elixir, and as usual the brand has its own kind of massage (there used to be demo videos on Russian website, if I’m not mistaken, but I didn’t manage to find them and here is a video in French for example). The novelty costs 3100 rubles for 50 ml and it is on sale since December.
What have I had? The first use of crème was very pleasant. During the presentation in TSUM I’ve had an expresscare with novelty from beautician and she’s also recommend me products for all of my problems (I was interested in Intral cerum most of all, but how can I have even more cerums for everyday care?..)
I’ve visited the procedure in a completely exhausted state. It was the end of December and we were finishing our New Year iPad application, I was writing an article a day (it’s a lot, just in case). My skin was dehydrated because of iS Clinical care (this complex dries anyway, and moisturizing serum is not enough), I had three damn wrinkles on the forehead and general tiredness. I’ve nearly fallen asleep during express care procedure (telling the beautician about my care with acids earlier, because some think that I have dry skin and seldom beauticians distinguish betweendryanddehydratedskin by themselves that is by the way strange for a cosmetologist) and that’s why I really regretted this procedure being “express”. I would gladlylay down (or sit down – there is an amazingly comfortable armchair that keeps body half-lying) for one more hour. The result was awesome: brightened smoothed and shining skin, and what shocked me most – the wrinkles on the forehead were gone.
I’ve been looking at Ideal Resource jar at home with suspicion for a while because there’s nothing worse than applying something that differs from iS Clinical program and covering withpimples again. More over this had already happened a couple of times. But curiosity and three wrinkles on the forehead have won and I’ve decided to use the crème at least in the morning (at the evening I usually coat myself with three layers of Hydra Cool moisturizing serum after Active Serum).
At first, the texture really pleased me – it is really magnificent. The perfect combination of freshness, like light whipped creme, and at the same time, there is a feeling that the creme is quite nourishing. It is hard to explain it easier: crème nourishes but doesn’t clogpores of my oily although dehydrated skin. This is a complete happiness because after half a year on iS Clinical any product can be tested test forcomedogenic on me and the result would be visible at the end of the first day of use, that’s how fast everything appears. A lot of foundations were thrown away, many powders are still biding their time. But we’ve managed without this trouble with Ideal Resource.
Second pleasant thing are its moisturizing qualities (although they are not announced at press-release). Gradually I was able to defeat the problem of terrible dehydration and reduce it to simple dehydration. Moreover, I have a sensitive skin and this crème helped it to feel better.
The third thing is shine. More smooth and shining skin – this is what I confirm. Perhaps the effect is only visual, finally my iS Clinical acids work for my skin being smooth and flower acids hardly added much to them.)
All three wrinkles on my forehead are still there after a month. Sometimes it feels like they have become smaller…but no, I frown (and I do this very often) and see them again. Maybe I should prick them with Botox? …All in all I should note that the situation turned better in another problem zone of my face – in thenasolabialfolds. Or perhaps it only seems to me. Oh, you never know with these anti-age crèmes. )… While doing facial expressions the the grid ofgoing off nasolabialwrinkles appears. I think the reason for this is dehydration and I was never able to beat them. Now I can see them less and attributethis achievement to the creme.
The general conclusion is: if you are 30 years old, you have a dullcomplexion and the first wrinkles are bothering you, you should try this. I did like the general improvement of skin tone and texture and the most pleasant texture of crème itself. Without any problems the makeup is applied over it and even SPF crème, foundation and then make-up ) I think Ideal Resource can actually remove the little wrinkles net that begins to form in this age.

I just sincerely hope that you won’t unsubscribe from our blog in horror, I promise I will never scare you by such photos again (and I wish there’ll be no more opportunity like that).
I’ve told you a lot about iS Clinical (perhaps not as much as the brand would like, but they’ve never shown that), but photos are of more value than words in this situation. I just ask you to forgive the quality of photos because last May (left photos were done on May, 27th 2011) I’ve only had iPhone and light from a window, and now my photo gadgets and lighting are much better.
The ones who don’t want to see “before and after” photos would better not press “details” button. (well, I’ve warned you)
I wished for long to tell you about the two most pleasant cosmetic discoveries of mine, but it’s always been so little time to gather my thoughts. Meanwhile those two jars have returned me the hope in humanity and beauty industry. In Autumn I had such a spleen like “all these crèmes are the same, and there’s nothing to wait from them and make-up collections are so dull that it’s easier to hang” – it was really like hanging (that’s one of the reasons Yana was nearly the only one blogging)
So, I’m announcing you two products that have brought back my blogging mojo, as BBB once said.
At first, it’s peeling-gel for deep purification Rosegel Skin Clear from Suhada (my first experience of Japanese Suhada use is described here).
I’ve already told you many times that exfoliating Sebium by Bioderma is the best peeling product by all means. I always have it in my bathroom. Rosegel made me doubt which of them should have the first prize.
The other day we’re going to have a new skin care brand in sale. It’s called Eraclea. Developed in USA. Distributed through «36,6» network of pharmacies. Competitive advantages are hyaluronic acid, scientific researches, lack of pathos and a lucid idea about who, why and for what needs it. That’s how it looks like:
As for me, that kind of news is always pleasant to tell. At first, because this is breaking news. Secondly, because it’s pleasant news. Thirdly, though the field trials of Eraclea were pretty short, they were rather thoughtful and now there are reasons to believe that this brand is a good thing for humane prices (ranges 1 800 – 2 500 rub), that is going to be suitable for many customers and for some of them is going to be the finding and the problems solution.
Eraclea presents a small but lucid product line. All the basic things are here. Specifically, day and night creams.
Exfoliant, eyes surround cream and hydrating day lotion that substitutes a day cream for the ones with oily skin and everyone who likes lightweight textures::
And finally purifying cleanser, hydration serum with zinc (for oily skin) and intensive repair and protect serum (for a tired and aging skin) greatly endowed with vitamin C.
As you see, the package is as simple as possible. Indeed it’s for the ones who set their hopes on skin care and hopes to get something more than bathroom shelves decorating.
There are many things that cause sympathy to the brand. Firstly, it was established by two women of the serious age that have their lifetime spent in our great industry – Morgan Heah and Janet Denlinger. Morgan was top-manager of big beauty-companies, Janet was a scientist, but that didn’t stop them from becoming the closest friends. (And personally I sentimentally believe in undertakings that are based on normal human friendship. And more over I believe in female friendship too.)
Secondly, these women have an imposing background. Janet and her husband, a famous scientist Dr. Indre Balazs have created the hyaluronic acid that is suitable for use in cosmetics. And the famous formula of Advanced Night Repair Estee Lauder was created with their help too. Janet told me that at the beginning of 1980s they had come to New York with a test tube of this very same hyaluronic acid. There’d been two appointments – one at Revlon, another at Estee Lauder. Revlon had avoided the meeting under the pretext. Estee Lauder had descended and as a result hyaluronic acid had become the basic ingredient of their following new product that had actually become the new ANR hit.
The product that Eraclea provides now seems to be even cooler then that hyaluronic acid although it’s the extention of the same story. The basic component of all the line is some HylaSponge®System which is a combination of hyaluronic acid molecules of different weight that as sponges do, absorb and release the water volume which exceeds their own more than 100 times. They absorb it from skin surface (while moisturing it) and transfer it to deeper layers. And so there comes some second, pretty moisturized skin layer (I can attest it doesn’t feel like some excess strata but it’s just like the cream is applied to the skin, it’s very well moisturized and small wrinkles are filled so that they become hardly noticeable). God only knows what happens inside but it affects the general condition very favorably.
The day cream is very lightweight, nearly air-textured and looks like really saturated with moisture.
I haven’t decided which of the photos exactly conveys this sense better so I’m going to show you both.
Night cream is a bit dencer, but very little bit. Lotion texture is even more lightweight but as far as it’s not in a jar but in a bottle it’s harder to show it to you. . They both have a slight distinctive odor, not an obtrusive perf-fragrance but something that gives a sense of security about what’s going on.
And speaking about bottles, there’s some nice feature in them. There is no classical cap at all and they are to be opened and closed using the same rotational motion as if dispensing a solid deodorant from the tube. Just twist the outer top ring anti-clockwise – the dispenser extends from it. Twist the ring clockwise and the dispenser disappears inside. That’s what the bottles look while opened:
Seems like nothing serious but for the first time at the presentation it put me in an easy stress – I’ve opened the bottle somehow instinctively and later I’ve been searching for a cap for some time until I realized that there is no cap at all. And it’s really useful because all the caps in my bathroom always get lost and with this bottle it’s absolutely impossible. You know, you can’t loose a thing that doesn’t exist.
But for the brand creators this is not only a feature, but a useful technological innovation that allows keeping the product perfectly seal and eliminates clogging the formula with preservatives.
That’s the brand that’s going to be sold through «36,6» network of pharmacies. By the way, it’s new in US too, it was widely presented in March 2011 only and until then it had been sold through internet, if I’m not mistaken. In US it’s now distributed through spa, plastic surgeons, dermatologists and through other reliable people. You can read more about it on American site Eraclea here. During the presentation the launch of Russian site was announced.
I’ve been using Eraclea for a week and I can tell you exactly that it moistures greatly. It can be compared to my favorite moisturizing cream Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream that has been tested during the expedition ether to the North or to the South Pole. I havent’been on any of them, just in Croatia but working extremely hard in a permanent stress. Eraclea had passed the test worthily. If you try it, tell me whether you like it as well as I do? I’ m really interested!
Dear friends, you can’t even imagine in what kind of field conditions this post is being written. I am literally reporting to you directly from Schiphol airport in Amsterdam where a wi-fi crisis has unexpectedly occurred. So, if you read these lines on 7 September at night or in the morning on 8 September, then it means I found it (the wi-fi) in the end. And if you read them on 8 September in the evening, then I didn’t
The tough fate of a beauty editor took me the Netherlands. And, to be honest, I was going to blow your minds with the sensational announcement of a launch of a very interesting Dutch make-up brand. The launch should take place in October, and I’m aaawfully proud of myself because I was there – as the only journalist – when the final decision was being taken. And I was, therefore, the only journalist to exclusively announce the launch of the brand in Russia.
Basically, I was practically swollen with pride and burning with the desire to tell and show you everything, but then I suddenly realized that the pictures of the cosmetics cannot be transferred from a camera onto an iPad without a computer (I can be very clever at times, I know).
Because of that, the sensational announcement has to be postponed a little. For now, we will have to make do with the feedback left for Kiehl’s Double Strength Deep Wrinkle Filler, the appearance of which was commented on by Yulia, and which I have been diligently testing ever since. Here it is in my hands – the picture was providently uploaded before the trip.
It either already has come out or will appear in stores very soon. And yes, it’s something like an instant wrinkle filler that gives you an effect which lasts until the first cleanse.
